Her story:
“It has been many years and we have not had the means to properly complete our yard. My husband has been fighting one battle after another for the past few years. He finally lost his battle to leukemia in March 2020. I have my disabilities and can’t do what I have dreamed of. Winning this contest would be a prayer answered. Our air conditioner is 30 years old. It was put in when we had a home rebuilt in 1990 after we lost our original home to fire. I am sure a new one would save me money on hydro bill. Thank you so much for this chance.”
