Discover the secrets of downtown St. Catharines: Join A Taste of History walking tours

The St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre and the St. Catharines Downtown Association present A Taste of History: Downtown West and East Walking Tours. Led by guides from the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre, participants will embark on a 90-minute journey through the heart of Downtown. The tours provide a combination of history and culinary delights, as attendees will have the chance to stop at various historic locations and local cafés along the way. Participants can choose from two. The Downtown West Tour takes place once on August 12 at 10 a.m., and explores the west side of Downtown, including the fascinating history of Montebello Park, Market Square, and more. Another date for the tour may be added as well. The Downtown East Tour happens on July 29 and August 26 at 10 a.m. That tour guides participants through the history of the east side of Downtown, along King and St. Paul streets. Tickets are available at stcatharines.ca/TasteOfHistory Priced at $25 per person, the ticket includes refreshments provided throughout the tour.
