The IceDogs announced Saturday the commitment of Nicholas Frasca to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. Niagara enjoyed four picks in the first four rounds of this year’s priority selection draft and all four have now signed on for the 2024-25 season.
Frasca was selected in the 3rd round, 56th overall by the IceDogs out of the Toronto Marlboros U16. In 61 games the 6’1 and 175lbs “D” produced 7 goals and 23 assists. He added four points in six playoff games.
Nicholas will be the fourth Frasca brother to play in the OHL. Jordan spent five years in the OHL and now plays in the Pittsburgh organization. Jacob just finished his OHL career with the Soo and Gabriel is a current member of the Frontenacs and is a prospect for the 2024 NHL Draft.
