Niagara Falls is joining the global City Nature Challenge from April 26 to 29, inviting residents to snap pictures of native plants and animals using the iNaturalist app.
This fun event helps scientific research and last year, over 66,000 people worldwide made 1.8 million observations.
To participate download the iNaturalist app on a mobile device and venture out into the community to find wildlife.
Take pictures of any plants, animals, or evidence of life that you find, noting the location and share your observations through the app.
The challenge results will be announced in early May 2024.
