Niagara Regional Police have arrested two individuals following an investigation into illegal drug distribution in Niagara Falls.
Detectives observed a man engaging in drug trafficking activity outside a commercial business and arrested him.
He was found carrying fentanyl, hydromorphone, and cash.
On March 5, police executed a search warrant at a Niagara Falls motel room, leading to the seizure of 140 grams of suspected fentanyl, 38 hydromorphone tablets, and $1,820 in cash.
55-year-old Gerald Caines of St. Catharines and 55-year-old Emnuela Bartolini of Niagara Falls, have been charged in connection with the investigation.
