As reported earlier this week, a charity softball game is being held tonight to help raise money for Victim Services locally.
We spoke with Tarryn Anderson, Executive Director of Victim Services Niagara who spoke about the rivalry between the police and fire departments.
Anderson says Victim Services works very closely with all types of first responders, so they wanted to include them in a fundraiser.
Money raised from ticket sales, raffles and a 50/50 draw will be supporting Victim Services, which works closely to provide emotional support and crisis intervention among other things to victims of crime and tragedy.
The game starts at 7:00pm at Oakes Park in Niagara Falls. Tickets can be purchased online or on-site.
