Welland has added a sixth doctor in just eight months.
Dr. Hamzah Khan started seeing new patients recently at Intrepid Health on Niagara Street, as the sixth doctor to start in the city since a new incentive program started.
The program offers $100,000 to physicians who move to Welland to either start or take over a new practice.
There’s still $400,000 left in the program, which started at $1-million.
