In honour of World Water Day on March 22, Niagara Region is offering free guided tours of the Grimsby Water Treatment Plant on March 21.
Participants will get an inside look at the water treatment process, guided by a professional operator, from source to tap.
Niagara Region operates six treatment plants, producing 155 million liters of clean drinking water daily.
The 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. tours require registration by March 14, with limited space available.
