Big changes are coming to the Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre in St. Catharines.
The facility will undergo a $1.7-million refrigeration system replacement from June to August, meaning the ice pads will be closed for about 12 weeks.
The City says the upgrade is necessary to prevent breakdowns and ensure long-term reliability.
While summer ice programs are on hold, alternative activities like pickleball will be offered.
