The 2025 Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival is bringing a number of changes, including enhanced security measures and a revamped Sunday night entertainment experience.
Port Colborne is partnering with a crowd control expert to improve safety and spectator support. Meanwhile, Sunday night entertainment is moving from H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park to West Street, where a rooftop concert at 214 West Street will take place before and during the fireworks show.
The historic building, once home to the Imperial Bank of Canada, has been approved for use. This announcement comes after crowd control issues at least year’s festival at HH Knoll Park.
Band lineups will be announced in June.
