Woman has life threatening injuries after being struck by vehicle in Port Colborne

Niagara Regional Police say a woman is fighting life-threatening injuries related to a serious crash in Port Colborne.

Friday just after 3:00pm, emergency crews responded to the crash in the area of Welland and Bell streets, after a yellow Ford can hit a pedestrian.

The woman was airlifted by ORGNE Air Ambulance to an out-of-region hospital with life threatening injuries. The NRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the collision, however there’s no word on any charges yet.
