Niagara Health is increasing its maximum daily parking rate from $16 to $19.
The health authority locally says this change will go into effect on December 16th, noting that the rates align with the Ministry of Health’s Parking Directive and peer hospitals.
Parking revenue locally generates $4.5-million annually, and supports hospital operations and equipment purchases. There are still discounts available for frequent users, staff, volunteers and regular patients.
