Niagara Regional Police are investigating two jewelry thefts, one in St. Catharines and Welland.
In both cases, a man entered the stores, asked to view jewelry, and ran off with it once given access.
The thefts occurred at Kavar Jewellers in the Pen Centre and Tianna’s Jewelry in the Seaway Mall.
The suspect is described as 18-25 years old, clean-shaven, with long black curly hair.
Police believe the same man was involved in a similar theft in Stratford, Ontario, on November 26, and he may be active in other areas.
