On November 25, Niagara Regional Police responded to a robbery in Welland where a man was robbed of his electric scooter by three suspects fleeing in a black Jeep Wrangler.
Officers quickly stopped the vehicle, arrested three individuals, and recovered the stolen scooter and weapons.
34-year-old Natasha Leigh Seguin, 32-year-old Simran Singh, and 37-year-old Mohd Farooqi, face robbery charges, with Seguin also charged for breaching probation.
The victim, however, was also arrested after police discovered he had an outstanding warrant and was carrying 13 g of suspected fentanyl and bear spray.
A subsequent search at a Welland home uncovered 41.8 g of suspected fentanyl, trafficking equipment, and a homemade stun gun, valued at $11,000.
36-year-old Justin Daniel Roesler was arrested and faces multiple charges.
