The Niagara Region is set to advance its GO Precinct Development Project by dismantling and removing the current St. Paul West Bridge starting next week.
The multi-year project includes building a new bridge, upgrading the St. Catharines Train Station and Transit Hub, and reconstructing Ridley Road.
The work will be done over an active Canadian National Railway corridor, with CNR pausing train service for two days.
Extended work hours and noise are expected from November 18th to 20th.
