Thursday, a naming ceremony will be held in St. Catharines as the St. Catharines Hospital officially is renamed the Marotta Family Hospital.
Niagara Health officials say this milestone reflects the Marotta family’s generous contributions to healthcare in the region.
It was announced earlier this year that the hospital would be renamed after a $15-million donation, which will be used to enhance services and upgrade equipment.
