While most people don’t want to think about snow just yet, the City of Niagara Falls wants to talk about it.
Niagara Falls residents can expect a phonecall sometime over the next week from ERG National Research about sidewalk snow removal.
The survey will be asking about whether or not you own or rent where you live, possible fines for not clearing sidewalk snow, and the possibility of a tax increase in turn for city staff clearing all sidewalks themself.
As of now, the City clears snow on Class 1 roads, but there is a possibility that would be extended to Class 2 and 3 roads, depending on survey results.
