Thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts will embark on Welland County Motorcycle Club this weekend, while a local organization will be getting a big donation.
This weekend is Biketoberfest, which is always a great time for those who embrace their motorcycles. Board of Directors member Brian Armstrong says there’s going to be plenty going on.
One of the highlights of the event is a bike raffle, a 2023 Harley Davidson Sportster S, with all proceeds benefiting The Hope Centre in Welland.
Armstrong says selecting The Hope Centre as the beneficiary for the raffle was a no-brainer.
Since 1974, The Hope Centre has helped to build and strengthen Welland by supporting the most vulnerable in the Welland community. They offer a wide range of services that help individuals and families in Welland that are facing challenges related to poverty including mental health, addictions, food insecurity and housing instability.
