The Niagara Region is now accepting applications for the Niagara Prosperity Initiative, offering funding from $100,000 to $300,000 per year for three years.
The initiative supports projects aimed at reducing poverty and improving well-being in the region, following the Niagara Poverty Reduction Strategy.
Eligible applicants must be non-profits, registered charities, or Indigenous-led organizations serving Niagara residents.
Applications are open until October 31, 2024, with funding decisions expected in December. Residents can also attend information sessions being held this week:
-Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, 10 a.m. – noon (online)
-Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024, 1 – 3 p.m.
