United Way Niagara is off to the races with this year’s campaign – with a goal of $5.2-million.
That money will help United Way support critical programs throughout the region, such as food banks, shelters and mental health services.
CEO Frances Hallworth emphasized the need for community support, as they helped over 160,000 people last year.
The campaign launched with a firetruck pull event, raising $25,000 to jump-start efforts. Brad Steeves, President of Beatties Business Products, will return for a second year as the 2024 Campaign Chair.
