Federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh has officially ended the supply and confidence agreement that his party had with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s minority Liberal government.
The 2022 deal had supported Trudeau’s government, but Singh announced today that the NDP is pulling out due to the Liberals’ failure to address corporate greed and stop the rising popularity of the Conservatives.
Singh asserts that the NDP is ready to challenge the Conservatives in the next election, promising to deliver relief, improve healthcare, build homes, and combat price gouging.
