Niagara Regional Police plans to spend nearly $6.8-million in 2025 on capital projects, with most of that going towards replacing aging vehicles.
The force’s capital budget was approved yesterday, with over 90% going towards replacing assets. It will still need to be approved by regional council.
$2.2-million is for aging vehicles, while another 2.3 will replace radio equipment and training equipment.
