Niagara Regional Police have arrested a man in connection to a human trafficking investigation.
Police say the investigation started in April, and focused on the trafficking of women in the Niagara Region.
Wednesday, 53-year-old Conrad Leduc of New Brunswick was arrested in Welland and charged multiple trafficking-related charges. Police believe there may be more victims in Ontario and New Brunswick, and are asking for anyone with further information to reach out.
He’ll appear in court again Thursday.
