The union that represents striking LCBO workers across Ontario is returning to the bargaining table today.
The Ontario Public Service Employees Union has said the dispute is primarily surrounding Doug Ford’s plan to allow more convenience and grocery stores to roll out ready-to-drink cocktails – which it says would threaten jobs.
The union says a plan will be presented to help protect these jobs, as well as any public revenues that sales at LCBO generates.
Roughly 10,000 workers went on strike July 5th.
