Niagara’s new Chief of Police has officially been sworn in.
Bill Fordy was sworn in yesterday in St. Catharines. NRPS announced his appointment back on February 1st, as the 35-year veteran of law enforcement had previously served as Deputy Chief locally for over 6 years.
Before joining Niagara Regional Police, he was the Assistant Commissioner with the RCMP.
