Roughly 800 Hydro One customers without power in Wainfleet and Pelham

Hydro One says roughly 800 residents between Wainfleet and Pelham are without power.

This comes as strong winds gust through the region. Hydro crews are investigating the outage and assessing damage, while there is currently no estimated restoration time.

We’ll provide more updates as they become available.

UPDATE #1: (4:00pm): Power has been restored to the majority of customers in Wainfleet and Pelham.
