A new Aligner Hut has been unveiled for the 2024 World Rowing Championships in St. Catharines.
On Tuesday, partner organizations and members of local government gathered for a ribbon-cutting for the Aligner Hut on Martindale Pond.
The hut, which is be used as a starting line for races, was built by students and faculty from Niagara College’s Carpentry and Renovation Technician program, while all materials were donated by the Niagara Home Builders Association.
The championships start in August.
