With the Victoria Day long weekend just around the corner, the St. Catharines Fire Department is reminding businesses that only those licensed with a permit can sell fireworks within city limits.
Interested parties can apply for a permit by contacting the city.
The by-law only allows for the use of fireworks around Victoria Day, Canada Day, and Diwali.
