Henri Koning has been appointed as Niagara Region’s new Commissioner of Community Services, following Regional Council approval.
In her role, she’ll oversee departments such as Children’s Services, Housing, and Seniors Services.
Since joining Niagara Region in 2012, Koning has served as Director of Seniors Services, where she managed eight long-term care homes and led redevelopment projects in St. Catharines and Fort Erie.
