Canada’s Women’s 8 Rowing team will compete in repechage for a spot in the Olympic finals.
The squad, led by St. Catharines’ Kristen kit, won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, and finished third in their heat earlier this morning, behind Australia and Great Britain.
They’ll now face off against Australia again, as well as the US, Italy and Denmark – with the top 4 advancing to the finals.
The repechage race will be held Thursday at 4:10am EST.
